Caught by a trained crew and sourced from a well-managed fishery that has been independently certified to the MSC’s standard for sustainable fishing, Fairer Fish MSC is fully traceable so we know where, when and how the tuna was caught. Caught without the use of fish aggregating devices (FADs), which are known to increase bycatch, Fairer Fish MSC FAD free helps ensure long-term sustainability of fish stocks for future generations. The MSC is an international independent, non-profit organisation that sets standards for sustainable fishing and seafood traceability. MSC certification is a voluntary third-party certification program that verifies whether a fishery meets the organisation's criteria for sustainability. The process of MSC Certification evaluates the fishery's management practices, fishing methods, and the health of the target fish stocks against the MSC's Fisheries Standard.
